As a photographer there are many occasions that are full of joy, family, and lots of life and excitement. There are other opportunities as well. When a photographer is called upon to present an institution of some sort and use photographs as a way to impress a certain viewpoint to the targeted audience, this too is a special occasion.
I have had the opportunity to work with many wonderful organizations in Israel, get to know their leaders and members, and allow the outside a peek in and see what unfolds behind their doors. Below you will find some examples of the organizations with whom I have had the privledge to work.

Aseh Chayil Elementary School
One Million and a half buttons
Suzanne Weiss, a teacher certified to teach young children about the Shoah, created a program to collect 1.5 million buttons in memory of the 1.5 million children who were murdered in the Holocaust. This project began with the students of Aseh Chayil, an elementary school in Efrat where she has been teaching for many years. It was patterned after a famous project from Whitwell Tennessee using paper clips instead of buttons. The students received buttons, from all over the world, buttons of all sorts. They collected, counted and saved the buttons and have now built a memorial with this large collection. For more information please click on this link.www.tik-tak.co.il/efrat
